Another great win for Gabriella Lindley of Thongsbridge Tennis Club. Gabby won her first Grade 3 competition, the 9u girls singles at the David Lloyd Club in Derbyshire. Gabby won all 4 of her matches from the 16 girl compass draw, beating the top 4 seeds to claim her winning trophy.
She played some long and hard rallies, but managed to take the winning set in each match. The final was between herself and Millie Skelton from Hull Tennis Club, with Gabby winning 7-5, 4-7, 7-1 and taking home the winner’s trophy.
