U8 player of the month
Huxley
Huxley has had a major break through this month winning his first U8 tournament in Sunderland and finishing runner up in Harrogate. This has been down to all the hard work he has put into his lessons. Keep it up – what a start to the year!
U9 player of the month
Joel Morton
Joel has moved from Youth Red to Youth Orange in the recent weeks. In only his third U9 tournament he has managed to win his first Grade 4 competition in this age group at a competition in Leeds. This month he has also performed well in two other tournaments finishing a respectable 2nd and 3rd place. Joel’s hard work and dedication to practice have also been rewarded with his selection to represent Yorkshire in the U8 County cup!

Seb Beetlestone
Seb continues to work hard on the practice court and has recently competed in his first Grade 2 level competition. While this is a great achievement in itself, the whole experience was capped off when he reached the semi finals. Great effort Seb, well done!
U10 player of the month
Deyvon Butlin
Deyvon continues to impress at Youth Green. Continuing to work hard on improving his backhand, Deyvon hit form at a recent Grade 4 competition in Leeds by winning without dropping a game. Well done Deyvon keep up the hard work!
U16 player of the month
Will Goldthorpe
Will has worked really hard to transfer the skills he has learnt on the practice court into successful performances in a competitive environment. Throughout the month of February Will has won one tournament and got to the final in another. Well done Will – keep up the hard work!
