U8 Player of the Month
Ala Kaliszewi
Ala has worked really hard to transfer the skills she has learnt on the practice court into successful performances in a competitive environment. Throughout the month of March, Ala has represented Yorkshire in the U8 County Cup and has won an individual singles tournament – not bad considering she’s only 6 years old! Well done Ala – keep up the hard work!
U9 Player of the Month
Jake Coates & Oliver Coates
Having recently transitioned from mini red to mini orange both Jake and Oliver have made huge improvements in their game. They always give 100% in every session, encouraging fellow players and enjoying every opportunity to step onto a tennis court and hit a ball. Well done Jake and Oliver.
U10 Player of the Month
Isaac Ball
Isaac continues to train incredibly hard week in week out and he remains determined to improve. Loving the competitive side of the game he has never backed away from entering tournaments. However, winning has not come easily. It’s therefore a true testament to Isaac’s dedication that over the past month he has won his first competition in a long time having come 3rd on so many previous occasions. Well done Isaac, this award is thoroughly deserved!
U16 Player of the Month
Reuben Revell / Oliver Compton
Reuben has completed an excellent winter season of training and has been competing at regional and national level regularly which has resulted in two grade 3 titles in two weeks – well done keep it up !!
Oliver is new to tennis and after only 6 x 30 min sessions over three months, he can now rally from the baseline. A fantastic achievement in such a short space of time.
