U8 player of the month

Jack Sullivan
Jack has had a great month as his confidence has built and he has strung some great results together! This includes runner up and 4th place in 2 x Grade 3s and winning a Grade 5 event. He has also played up an age group, managing to win some matches at a 9&U Grade 3 as well! His attacking forehand is becoming a difficult shot as he uses it to great effect moving the opponent around the court! Well done Jack, thoroughly deserved!

U9 player of the month

Nayvie Simpson
Nayvie continues to work really hard to improve all aspects of her game. She recently represented Yorkshire in the County cup and managed to achieve a tournament win and runner up placing over the Easter Holidays. Well done Nayvie, an impressive start to the summer season!

U10 player of the month

Isabelle Daniels
Isabelle has worked really hard in the last month resulting in some much-improved tournament results and her doubling her ranking points! She was runner up in a Grade 4 and won a round at the Grade 3. Isabelle has also had a go playing up an age group, reaching a semi-final at 11&U and showing she can cope with the harder hitters! If she continues this good form, then she will achieve many more wins as she learns how to dominate the court. Keep practicing and working hard Isabelle!

U16 player of the month

Madeleine McGill
Madeleine has worked hard to improve her footwork and as the time goes by, her agility has become increasingly impressive. She is now reaching every ball which has helped make her a great counter puncher in point play with good physical skills to stay in long rallies and finish off points by attacking with her forehand.

She is the kind of player that no one likes to play because of these positive characteristics. Well done Madeleine – your results over Easter are testament to your hard work!!
