Poppy Wood
Poppy continues to try really hard to develop all aspects of her game. She demonstrates a great attitude and a real willingness to learn in each squad session. She also acts as a great role model to other members in her group. Well done Poppy- keep up the hard work!

 

U9 player of the month

Joel Morton / Isaac Ellis / Reuben Gordan
Joel continues to display an attitude and work ethic both on and off the court that he should be very proud of. Recent successes at the Yorkshire Championships and Thongsbridge Open are great examples that the hard work is paying off. A huge well done, keep it up Joel!

Isaac’s games is developing really nicely with solid groundstrokes underpinning his attacking baseline game. He now looks at home on a Mini Orange court and is looking forward to competing in his first Grade 2 level tournament. Good luck Isaac!

Reuben is an absolute joy to teach. He works really hard to improve all aspects of his game and always plays with a smile on his face. He has a great willingness to learn and never gives up. Well done Reuben- keep up the hard work!

 

U10 player of the month

Oliver Zamberlan
Oliver continues to develop all aspects of his game and has transitioned well to working with his new coach Matt Green. It’s therefore no surprise that the month of September has brought some tournament success for Oliver as he continues to improve. Well done Oliver, keep up the hard work!

All the hard work continues to pay off for Ben who has made a great start to the tennis year. Training extremely well in squads during the week it’s no surprise that over the last month Ben has achieved several notable tournament results by testing others in older age groups – well done Ben, keep it up!
