Toby Johnson
Toby continues to try really hard to develop all aspects of his game. He demonstrates a great attitude and his ‘cheeky but endearing’ sense of humour brings a feel good factor to every session. It comes as no surprise that Toby has had several recent successes in mini red competitions as a result of his efforts when training – Well done Toby!

U9 player of the month

Cooper Hughes / Matilda Baker
Cooper is an absolute joy to teach. He works really hard to improve all aspects of his game and always plays with a smile on his face. He has a great willingness to learn and never gives up. His attitude in squad sessions is exemplary! Well done Cooper- keep up the hard work!

There are not many that enjoy their tennis more than Matilda. Court 3 is regularly filled with screams of joy during her individual lessons and it’s great to see how her tennis skills are improving all the time. Well done Matilda, the title of ‘player of the month’ is well deserved!

William Martin
William continues to try really hard to develop all aspects of his game. He demonstrates a great attitude and a real willingness to learn in each squad session. He also acts as a great role model to other members in his group. Well done William – keep up the hard work!

Junior player of the month

Harry Dyson
Having recently joined the coaching programme, Harry’s commitment to improving his game is second to none. He shows a real willingness to learn and uses the feedback received from the coaching team to great effect. Turning up to practice serves in the winter months outside at 8pm is certainly something to be admired – awesome effort Harry – well done and keep up the good work!
