Players of block 2!
U8 player of the block
Zachary Rathbone
Zachary continues to try really hard to develop all aspects of his game. He demonstrates a great attitude and a real willingness to learn in each squad session. He also acts as a great role model to other members in his group. It’s great to hear that Zachary has now decided to start entering tournaments as his love for the game continues to grow. Good luck Zachary and keep up the hard work!
U9 player of the block
Amelie Woolgar
Amelie has worked really hard to develop all aspects of her game since September. She is becoming increasingly consistent from the back of the court, hitting with good shape and purpose and her focus in squad sessions is always impeccable. Well done Amelie – keep up the hard work!
Isla Tolman
Isla continues to improve week on week and displays an attitude that she should be very proud of. She always arrives with a smile on her face and is becoming increasingly consistent when rallying from the back of the court. Her ability to compete well in competitive point play is also improving all the time. Well done Isla, it’s great to have you on the programme!
U10 player of the block
Elissa Morton
Elissa’s passion for tennis is growing all the time and her hard work is paying off. Looking ever more refined in her technique and putting in several strong performances in tournaments she is definitely one to watch in 2025. Elissa we love having you on the programme – you are a pleasure to teach! Well done, we can’t wait to see you back on court in the new year.
U16 player of the block
Harry Dyson
Few work harder at improving their game than Harry. Arriving for his lessons at 6.30am his dedication is clear to see and it is of no surprise that he has recently been rewarded by getting to two finals in his last three tournaments. It’s been a brilliant 2024 Harry and we can’t wait to see what 2025 holds. Keep up the good work, the title of ‘player of the block’ is well deserved!
