Dance Studio

  • The Dance Studio - 967 square feet
  • Full length mirrors on 2 walls
  • Wood effect flooring
  • Entertainment system including ipod adaptor.
  • Variety of equipment available for use, including steps, mats, toning bars and dumbbells
  • Suitable for many forms of dance and exercise classes, although stillettos and metal taps are not permitted
  • Heating makes it warm and comfortable for holistic classes such as Yoga and Pilates

Studio Classes 

All studio classes run by TTC are FREE for peak members.  Off peak members are able to attend studio classes run by TTC for FREE during their off peak hours.  Our young members age 14+ are able to attend our studio classes run by TTC for FREE.  Classes for non-members are £5 per class.  If you are a non-member attending for the first time, please allow 15 minutes beforehand to complete our registration process.

During holiday periods (apart from Xmas) where our regular instructors are not available, classes will continue, however they may be covered by a toning and conditioning class.  This does not apply to pilates, zumba and yoga.

Spin

New to Thongsbridge. A mixture of interval training, repeated sprint training and high resistance hill climbs on our brand new spin bikes. This class is for all abilities.

TRX 

TRX is a type of training that uses your own bodyweight and gravity, to build strength,balance, coordination, flexibility, core and joint stability, all while avoiding injury.

Stretching Workshop

A 30 minute express class for improving lower body flexibility, shoulder mobility and muscle tightness.

Core Strength

A core workout that is not aerobic. Based on the principles of Pilates, Callanetics and Yoga.

Full Body Toning

A Toning Class that shapes firms and condition the whole body with the use of free weights.

Body Strength

A 30 minute class using your own body weight, dumb bells and TRX equipment to strengthen your body.

Pilates

A mind and body class working on core strength, balance and posture. Ideal for stress release and improving circulation.

The Power Half Hour

30 minute express class for optimising strength, minimising recovery time, increasing functional power and agility and maximising performance. "Challenge yourself!"

Boxercise

A high energy class that incorporates a number of moves and techniques that will drastically improve your fitness.  Punch and kick your stress away.

Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga yoga utilizes postures and movement, combined with breath. This form of flow yoga offers a range of health benefits as it encompasses all areas of mind and body, building up heat in the body to cleanse and detox. Ashtanga yoga increases muscle strength and tone, endurance and flexibility and reduces levels of stress.

Legs, Bums and Tums

An all time favourite purely designed to give you those lovely legs and beautiful bums and toned tums. A great conditioning class for everyone and always light hearted.

Step and Tone

An aerobic based workout with the aid of a step and light hand weights,combining muscle conditioning exercises. Easy to follow, come and join in!

Cardio Blast

Cardio blast is an intense sports inspired cardio workout aimed at building both strength and stamina. It is an energetic interval training session which combines aerobic movement with strength and stabilisation exercises.

Zumba

Join this popular dance craze, latino and international inspired dance. A fun class for all levels! Why not enjoy exercising?

Sunday Circuit

A fun class offering a variety of movement whilst working the body aerobically.Developing coordination, balance, power and strength.Suitable for all levels of fitness.

Abs Blast

Abs Blast is a vigorous 30 minute abdominal work out designed to tone, build and strengthen the abdominal muscles.
