Sammy Goldthorpe
Sammy has worked really hard to transfer the skills he has learnt on the practice court into successful performances in a competitive environment. Throughout the month of January, Sammy has won two U8 tournaments and continues to work hard on all aspects of his game. Well done Sammy – keep up the hard work!

U9 player of the month
Oliver Zamberlan
Oliver has worked really hard to improve all aspects of his game. He acts as a great role model to all members of his group and shows a real willingness to listen to coach feedback to help improve his game. Well done Oliver, a great start to the new year!

U10 player of the month
Tilly Sullivan
Tilly continues to impress as she transitions from Mini Orange to Mini Green. She has shown a real desire to put trust in developing solid groundstrokes from the back of the court and has remained true to her own values in trying to impose her attacking baseline game on her opponents. Tilly’s hard efforts have been rewarded with her first invitation to attend a regional training session later this month. Well done Tilly, we love your attacking game style!

U16 player of the month
Louis Hull
Louis continues to go from strength to strength. Working hard off court with strength and conditioning coach Shaun, Louis is now able to cope better with the increased physical demands that come with playing in an older age group. Louis has won two open men’s tournaments in January and is now focussing on gaining entry into U18 ITF events that are set to commence shortly. Well done Louis!
