Player of the Block

U8 player of the block

Harry Ingram
Harry continues to try really hard to develop all aspects of his game. He demonstrates a great attitude and a real willingness to learn in each session. He acts as a great role model to others around him and it was no surprise that he was selected to attend his first county training session and made a real impression with the coaching team. Well done Harry – you’ve had a super block!

U9 player of the block

Hugo Gallery
Hugo continues to grow in confidence with every week that passes. He has worked really hard on the practice court under the watchful eye of Craig his Coach and in the process has made winning a habit. Few spend more time on the practice court than Hugo who fully deserves the ‘player of the block’ title. Well done!

U10 player of the block

Ala Kaliszewicz
By her own admission Ala received little reward for her efforts on the tennis court throughout the summer months. To award Ala with ‘Player of the block’ is therefore a real testament to the hard work and dedication that she has put in since September to further improve her game. Having recently won a Grade 3 event in Hull followed by a invitation to an inter-regional (national) camp things appear to be coming together nicely. Well done Ala – we are proud of your efforts!

Junior player of the block

Vanessa Mueller
With the goal of achieving a place at an American University at stake Vanessa has been dedicated to test herself at the highest level of U18 junior competition in the quest of achieving an ITF world junior ranking. Having put in many hours of hard work, the first points have arrived following a couple of wins in events in Saint Denis & Saint Paul – Reunion Island. Well done Vanessa, the first points are the best!
