Players of the month – block 4!

U8 player of the month

Lewie Byram & George Rycrof
Both Lewie and George have worked really hard to develop all aspects of their game this block. They have demonstrated a great attitude and a real willingness to learn in squad sessions and have set a great example of what can be achieved with commitment and hard work. Their preparation and technique when hitting both forehands and backhands is improving all the time as is their ability to hold a rally. With continued hard work the futures bright! Well done boys- keep up the hard work!

U9 player of the month

Rashid is a joy to have on our tennis programme. He always arrives with a smile on his face and has a real desire to test himself against any level of opponent or in any drill. Rashid you continue to improve all the time and our team of coaches love working with you – well done!

U10 player of the month

Jasmeen Mattu
Jasmeen has worked really hard this block to improve on her movement and speed of recovery following each shot. As a direct result she is now able to make each point last several shots longer than before and make her opponents life that little bit harder. Well done Jasmeen – Enjoy your well-deserved Easter break!

Junior Player of the month

Seb Beetlestone
You might think Seb’s results speak for themselves, but Seb’s latest achievements don’t come about without consistent dedication to be the best version of himself at all times. That takes 100% commitment, which is never questionable from this young athlete. Seb has earned his Junior Player of the Month thanks to his relentless efforts to learn, improve and take all he can to court each and every time. Your mindset is commendable Seb. Keep up this level of effort and commitment and you will enjoy a world of opportunity in the sport you love. Well done!
