Players of the block – end of school year 2025!

Bobby Byram-Clifford
Bobby continues to amaze for someone so young. Having worked hard all year in both individual and group lessons his tennis skills have been developing at a rapid rate. It’s therefore no surprise that he achieved not one but three wins in the recent 8U match-play event held at Thongsbridge. A huge well done Bobby- keep up the hard work!

Jasmeen Mattu
Jasmeen is a joy to have on our tennis programme. In particular, she has made a real effort to improve her on court movement this last block. Rumour has it that she is now a regular competitor at the local park run too. Awesome work Jasmeen, the extra fitness work off the court is making a huge difference on it – well done!

Joe Maddison
Joe continues to model exemplary behaviour in his squad sessions.  He always turns up with a smile on his face ready to take on any challenge that presents itself. As a result, his game continues to steadily improve. Well done Joe!

Holmfirth High School Team
Junior players Seb, Louis, Oscar, Ethan & Elliot all represented Holmfirth High school in the ‘Aberdare & Glanvill cup’. This is a national schools’ competition that includes some of the best players in the country. Qualifying for the finals and going on to finish 14^th place was a great achievement, boys. You did yourselves, your school and the club proud. Well done!
