Player of the Block, September – October
Freddie
Freddie has made great strides since the start of the block in September. His ability to maintain a rally have vastly improved and he has now set his sights on improving his play in a competitive environment. With a few tournaments on the horizon we look forward to Freddie continuing to shine. Well done Freddie – keep up the hard work!
William
William has worked really hard since returning after the summer break to refine his technique in all areas of his game. As a result, he has had several notable wins in competition including winning both the 8U and 9U club championship titles. It’s no surprise that William has been invited to ‘regional training’ sessions this block. Well done William – we love your current levels of focus!
Gabriel
Gabriel continues to be a super competitor and role model to all those that share a squad with him. Since returning in September Gabriel has become the 10U club singles and doubles champion – a testament to the hard work he always puts in. Well done Gabriel – enjoy a well deserved half term break!
George
George has had a strong start back after the summer break. Regularly honing his skills at the club in the early hours before school George works as hard as anyone at improving his tennis. It therefore fills the coaching team with great pride that George will transition into some of our ‘futures’ tennis groups after half term – a great example of what hard work can bring. Well done George – we love having you on our programme!
