Thongsbridge Active Kids: Join the journey!
As we head into a new term, we are thrilled to be able to announce the launch of a brand-new series of fitness sessions, specifically designed for children aged 7 to 13.
Our Thongsbridge Active Kids programme offers four unique classes that aim to boost physical health, confidence, and overall wellbeing in a fun and supportive space. Each class has been thoughtfully created to suit young, developing bodies and minds, helping children build strength, coordination, and a love for movement that lasts a lifetime.
So, what’s in store for our young ones?
Family Boot Camp Circuit
Rise and shine each Saturday morning and join us for a fun and energetic class, perfect for the whole family to enjoy together. This session is ideal for parents and children who want to get active side by side, boosting fitness and confidence. You can expect a mix of exercises and playful challenges that make working out feel like quality time.
Strength & Speed Stars
Taking place on Mondays and Wednesdays, these sessions deliver fun, safe, and structured training that builds speed, agility, strength, and coordination. Tailored specifically for growing bodies, this class helps children develop athletic skills in a way that supports their physical development and boosts their confidence. It’s ideal for kids who love to move and want to feel stronger and faster.
Born To Move™
Led by Fiona and designed to nurture a lifelong love of physical activity, this session helps children experience the joy and vitality of moving to music. Each session feeds young people’s natural appetite for action, movement, and play, allowing them to enjoy the energy, confidence, good health, and increased ability that comes with regular activity. It feels more like a dance party than a workout!

Junior Fitness
For our slightly older teens, don’t forget, we have Junior Fitness for those aged 14-15 years. This supervised session is a perfect introduction to the safe use of gym equipment and strength training. Spaces are limited, so we do ask that sessions are booked online and paid for at the time of booking.
NB. The cost per session is £5 for members and £6.50 for non-members. The hour-long Wednesday Strength & Speed Stars is £8.
