U8 player of the month

Harry Ingram / Asa Beetlestone
Harry and Asa are just starting out on their tennis journey. While they may be young, their effort and attitude that is on display every session matches those that are far beyond their years. Full of energy and keen to learn, the impression left of the coaching team is one of real joy. Seeing players so young have a real appetite for the game clearly bodes well for the future. Keep up the good work boys, it’s a pleasure to see you playing at the club!

U9 player of the month

Izabella Lewis
Izabella would be the first to admit that her tennis journey has not always been plain sailing. However, it is testament to her own desire to continue to improve that she turns up to training and gives her all every week. As a member of the U8 County Cup team she has clear potential and it is her desire to never give up that has impressed us the most. Keep up the good work Izabella, and good luck as you begin the transition onto Mini orange!

U10 player of the month

Nayvie Simpson
Nayvie continues to develop all aspects of her game and is currently working really hard to improve her technique – particularly on the forehand side. She recently represented Yorkshire in the U10 County Cup winning several of her matches and shows a real desire to continue to improve. She is an absolute pleasure to work with! Well done Nayvie, keep up the hard work!

U16 player of the month

Oscar Mitchell
All the hard work is starting to pay off for Oscar. Over the last month he has achieved several notable tournament results and has successfully represented the club in team tennis matches.  It’s been a really solid period of development for Oscar and we all look forward to seeing just how fast that serve will become as you get older! Well done!
